Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. When she was a kid, she listened to many classical music and older Boleros. Also, she listened to traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana enjoys tangos and opera and dramatic performances. Ana started learning how to sing and play music at an early age with her mother. She received more formal singing instruction when she reached the age of 16 old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. Her musical education continued through the School of Music of Guadalajara University, then at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was an active member of numerous opera choruses and chamber ensembles. Following her move to the United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002 she moved to Southern California. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and is a performer of Latin American traditional music solo for many private functions. In addition to being an active performer as well as an instructor and instructor, her passion for music and art keeps her engaged in a wide range of different projects. Ana is also a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana finds it a privilege to be able to share with others her passion for the traditional Latin American music. She hopes this can encourage younger generations to keep the tradition alive.
